Home Alone

While we are experiencing an earthquake and a hurricane within the same week, my boss started her business continuity and disaster recovery plan. I got a break while Jeff and Enoch is hanging out with Jeff's HK sister and Enoch's cousin for Korean buffet dinner. I made an excuse to go home directly without joining the dinner. On my way home, I stopped by Sephora and Brooklyn Century 21 dept. Store having fun checking out makeup and trying shoes. Instead of heat up the food from fridge, I had cereal and wine for my dinner with reading news online. I got to finish some chores and enjoy my few hours of home alone quiet time. Tomorrow is my weekly working from home day, but laptop and a mobile stick will be with me while preping for a farewell dinner for the HK SIL and niece.
